Dr. Ted Mioduski Dr. Ted Mioduski decided to build a new office for his growing practice in Loveland, Colorado he chose to use sustainable, environmentally friendly materials. The new building, which he and his partner Dr. Nicole Ferrara have been in since July, was built using a high percentage of recycled materials, non or low-polluting materials, lights that automatically shut off when rooms are not in use and good use of natural light. "We wanted to create a healthy, comfortable space for our staff and patients. It just made sense to make the investment up front in order to reap the benefits sustainable building provides over the long term." Feedback from patients has been very positive and the business is already enjoying reduced utility bills. Mioduski's office building is expected to be awarded LEED Gold certification this spring.
